BIOGRAPHY.
After Samantha Turner and Henry Woodsbury faced several false hopes and miscarriages, they had given up on the idea of ever having a child of their own. By the time they both reached the age of 30 they were blessed with a pregnancy that lasted. Finally, September 28, 1978 in Hartford, Connecticut, their bundle of joy entered the world. Her father, luckily owned his own Hardware store, so he was able to stay home with his wife and newly born daughter. Her mother had ended up working as an administrator for Senior citizens, so she was able take the proper amount of time for maternity leave. Rosie grew up in a caring, Christian household and by the time she was four they adopted a young little girl to add to their family. Now that they had a foundation for a family set up and thanks to her parents being older than the usual crowd that got pregnant at these times, Rosie grew up to be quite responsible, some would even go as far as to say traditional.

When it came to her younger sister, she easily filled the role of overprotective sibling mixed in with the premise of trying to be the best role model for her. They only had 3 years in between them, so they were almost always together during school. Both parents only wanted the absolute best for their daughters so they did everything they could to pay for their private school education, where they continued to pursue the Christian faith. In school, Rosie was your typical overachiever. She did absolutely everything necessary to get the best grades in school and during this time she also picked up the habit of being too hard on herself. Whenever she did below, what she believed was average, she would study even harder. Though, this habit had its downside, it also shaped her to be determined. In the end though, it left her to be alone with her studies than actually have a social life.

When it came to her senior year though, she was striving so hard to not only do well in school, but branch out and actually make friends. Thought the attempt was successful because she finally grew out of the awkward stage and became a beautiful swan, it was pointless. The attempt was futile since she was destined to leave her home of eighteen years to attend Georgetown University. That opened up another chapter in her life where she had that dilemma of who am I? Her four years there allowed her to grow up as a person and go through trials and hardships and it didn’t get easier. Her third year there she knew she had to do something with her life which was why she finally decided to work for her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

Rosie worked hard for this degree and each day was the chance to learn something new. The months working up to her Graduation day she found herself dabbling in more classes that revolved around Children’s psychology, that day she decided to work for her degree in Psychology with a focus on Children. Finally, the big day arrived and she was able to move out into the big, cruel world. Luckily, she found comfort in Washington D.C., so she stayed in the area looking desperately for a job working with children. But those, dreams had to be put on hold when he mother got quite ill. She took on the responsibility of working two jobs, one as a waitress and the other at a local bookstore. Whatever money she made she had to split in half. Most of it she sent back home and the other was barely enough to keep her old, rundown apartment in D.C., she kept her hopes of getting a job with children though and she had faith that one day we would get there.

Years went by and she kept up both jobs until she was 24 years old, but eventually her mother passed away. It was what her mother would have wanted. Rosie understood that it was just her time and though it really broke her spirit, she knew that she had move on with her life. Just before her mother’s death, she met an attractive man named Andreas Sofianos. He constantly kept returning to her job to dabble in the mass books of European History. Well there was obviously an attraction there and one date turned into two which later turned into about three months of dating. As things progressed in a short amount of time one thing led to another and she ended up letting her inhibitions take over and she had sex. One month since then her mother passed on from this life and she noticed a change in her physical appearance not to mention her eating habits. That same week she tested herself and resulted positive with a pregnancy. On that day she became an emotional wreck because she wanted her mother to have been alive during this moment.

The pregnancy put a major pause in her plans to use her degree, but she didn’t give up yet. She continued to look for work and was soon offered a job a Guidance counselor at the local high school by her apartment. Luckily, it was still early enough for her work and keep the job and still have her maternity leave. Things were panning out, she even had the chance to talk to Andreas, even if she was upset that this pregnancy was unplanned and barely knew the man. He had made an honest effort to check up on her on a daily basis the month before he was sent back to Greece. Since then he had kept in touch daily and worked his hardest to return, which he was finally able to do in 2008 and that April she married him. Now they have a small, but happy family with their darling daughter Alexandria and are expecting their second child due by the first week of January.
